We have 28 different formats to choose from, ranging in price from £27.50 + vat upwards. Please see the full range here or contact us here to discuss your requirements.
The quickest and easiest way to order is direct via this website, here.
Alternatively you can speak directly with our team on 0117 953 6363 or email fringe@outofhand.co.uk and place orders with them. Please be aware that offline order requests will take longer to process than online orders and your order isn't confirmed until you receive an order confirmation from us.
We split our stock allocation between online and offline sales to cater for demand, so there may be some instances where items are sold out online but still available offline, or vice versa.
Once you have placed your order, download the templates for the different formats you have booked and ensure you upload your artwork before the artwork deadlines for either the first or second release.
If you are not sure what to order, we are happy to offer advice of suitable formats / locations / zones to fit within your budget, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

First release: Tues 26th March - Friday 31st May 2024
Second Release: Sat 1st June - Fri 28th June 2024
We'll still take orders after these deadlines, but we'll confirm what dates they go on display in Edinburgh when you place your order as it might be after 2nd August.
We have divided Edinburgh into four Zones to create a zonal booking structure for selected formats. Posters will be placed on general distribution across all the advertising sites we have available for each format within that Zone, e.g. if you book 10 x 4-sheets in Zone One which has 10 different sites for that format, one poster will go on each site. So, if you only want to target the area around the Pleasance Courtyard, now you can! When you book, out of your total order, please specify how many posters you want in each zone. Please see Zone descriptions here.
Location products are specific to a location, so you are purchasing a product for specific site. Products include Festival Towers, 12-sheets and Block Wraps, amongst others.
You will be prompted to select location at the point of booking.
We restrict clients to only one poster, per show per site, to ensure as many Fringe participants can access popular locations as possible. Some products are also restricted by quantity, eg only one Festival Tower side per show, per location, per promoter.
Certain formats are booked by specific location, others are on general distribution within each zone. If you want your advertising in a specific location, you must book a location specific format.
We offer a free planning and advice to help you book the right advertising for your show, taking into account your venue, budget and target audience. Just contact us and we'll take things from there.
If placed via email / phone, we'll send you an order confirmation once your order is booked in. If booked on the website, you'll receive an order confirmation once you complete your order.
Your receive a confirmation straight away if it's been booked online, and within five working days if it's been booked in offline via email or phone.
Please contact us at 0117 953 6363 or email fringe@outofhand.co.uk and we'll do our best to find an alternative for you (if available).
Yes, all our prices include printing your supplied artwork onto the boards - there is NO need for you to print separate posters.
No, we are only printing supplied artwork directly onto correx. This is a more robust and weather resistant option as there is no paper poster to blow / rip off.
Yes, but please ensure you resize it for the different poster sizes you have booked. If you need us to resize your artwork for you, there will be an extra cost and this will be confirmed when you send over your artwork.

Short answer - yes! Your poster will stay up from either the 1st or 2nd artwork release date, depending on when you booked your order, until the end of the Fringe on 26th August.
Long answer - due to the extended period of time your advertising is up in a busy, festival city, damage can occur and is why we recommend buying spares when you first put your order in. That way, if your poster is damaged we can replace it with a spare ASAP. If you do not buy a spare when you first purchase, and instead have to order one if and when your poster becomes damaged, then there is more of a delay in re-installing your advertising.
Yes, you can advertise multiple shows on one poster, as long as it all fits within the poster size. Eg, some clients put three shows on one 12 sheet, or four shows on one side of a Festival Tower.
Yes, but you need to let us know by emailing fringe@outofhand.co.uk so we don't think it's been stolen or chase you for a reprint!
Email over the artwork / use a file transfer service to the OOH Customer Service team at hello@outofhand.co.uk, and clearly state your order number and we'll add it to your order. The repro team will be in touch if there are any technical issues with your artwork, eg wrong size, no bleed, low resolution etc.
When purchasing a product on our website we have a new function where you can search for your venue and view it on the map alongside our sites.
If you want to see a map independently of booking, you'll need to go to the Fringe Society website www.edfringe.com and use their show / venue search function.
If you are based in the UK, you will need to pay VAT on your order. However, if you are an overseas customer, there are different rules and in some circumstances, you don't need to pay VAT. If you have a VAT query, please contact finance@outofhand.co.uk quoting your order number as a reference.
