Out of Hand working in partnership with the Fringe Society are proud to support up and coming and emerging performers at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Marketing is vital to the success of a show at the Fringe, and with over 3,000 different shows taking place daily over the three weeks of the Fringe, it is hard to stand out from the crowd.
Out of Hand offer a range of Fringe specific marketing channels for participants to choose from to help promote their show - whatever their budget. Services offered range from design and print of flyers and posters, to distribution and street teams. Alongside this, Out of Hand offer outdoor posters which are an essential element of any Fringe performers marketing campaign to support their Edinburgh shows.
Working in partnership with the City of Edinburgh Council, these outdoor poster advertising sites are highly visible, centrally located throughout Edinburgh city centre and available exclusively for Fringe promoters and venues to promote their shows.
All sites are in prime central locations and ideally positioned for maximum visibility around the Fringe performance areas with sites outside the main venues, busy pedestrian walkways and main traffic routes and transport hubs.
Any participant who has registered a show with the Fringe Society for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2024 and is performing in a venue with 200 seats or less.
Winners for 2023:
Following the launch in 2022, we repeated our successful Edinburgh Fringe Marketing Bursary, offering four shows a marketing support packages, each worth £1,500.
Due to the large volume and high standards of the applications we received, it was extremely hard to select just four shows to receive a marketing bursary. Whilst we'd love to support so many more, but are supporting these shows for 2023:

Mr & Mrs Love
Biscuit Barrel: The 69-Sketch Show
Joe White: Ethiopian and Still Not Hungry
